Unlike most acts that have a visual female performer for marketing purposes only. Meg Hackett is a performer who seems to break the stereotype of the typical solo artist. In her act she not only does covers such as Melissa Etheridge and Bonnie Raitt, but also she has the versatility to be able to perform so many different styles, anything from Eric Clapton to Green Day.

MAIN STREET PUBLISHING- "Hackett kept the restaurant entertained throughout the evening using both six and 12-string instruments and was adept at using her glass slide to create a down-south Creole feel to many of her songs."

RECORD JOURNAL -"You can hear samples of her smooth voice and understated guitar at www.meghackett.com - She’s been playing out since 1977, and has worked with original and cover bands, as well as on her own.. Her resume lists well over 100 clubs at which she’s performed around New England and in Florida." Ralph Hohman

FAIRFIELD ADVOCATE-"Hackett is a consummate professional and a natural born entertainer which, in combination, can mean only one thing: if you’re in the market for an evening of musical enjoyment, the Next Stop Café should be your last stop."
